Have you ever heard of Yokohama Minatomirai, a town less than an hour away from Tokyo?

It is a popular sightseeing area with many attractions, from buildings that retain the history of the opening of the port to urban spots and commercial facilities.

In 2021, the ropeway "YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN" will open, offering a panoramic view of Minato Mirai.

The ropeway connects Sakuragicho Station to Canal Park Station (in front of Yokohama World Porters shopping mall), and the ride takes about 5 minutes one way.

The view of Minato Mirai from a height of up to 40 meters is spectacular.

It is recommended to use the Air Cabin for transportation or to enjoy a round-trip ride for sightseeing.

All cabins are barrier-free, so wheelchairs and baby carriages are allowed, and the ride is surprisingly quiet and comfortable, equipped with a continuous loop and ventilation system.

It is also open at night, so it is recommended to take the ride to see the night view.
